But what got internet users talking was the actor's Leo co-star trisha Krishnan's desire. A day after the mersal actor's birthday, the actress posted a mirror photo with Thalapathy Vijay on social media with the caption: “The calm to a storm, The storm to a calm; To many more milestones ahead”
 
Back when kuruvi came out, there was a lot of rumor that Thalapathy Vijay and trisha had stopped working together because they had an affair dating back to Ghilli's time, and the family of the bigil actor had persuaded him to stop working with her. But the celebrities have often said that they are merely close pals.
 

Many admirers of the Mankatha actress quickly flocked to social media to attempt to "decode" the selfie after she posted it. They said that the two have been living together for more than a year and are in a relationship.
 
Some admirers claimed that the photo was shot on a cruise that the couple went on together. The actor's shoes caught the attention of fans, who contended that Vijay was wearing the same pair of shoes at the airport when he was with Trisha.

When the photo of Vijay and trisha from the lift went viral, several YouTubers joined the rumor mill to make assumptions about the couple. Nonetheless, considering that both actors are now neighbors, the mirror selfie makes sense, claims the YouTube account Valaipechu.
 
They elaborated on the story by stating that Vijay recently paid around 25 crores for an 8000-square-foot flat in Santhome, which he uses as an office. In addition, trisha had paid 17 crores for a flat on the level underneath Thalapathy Vijay's in the same building. They said that the lift in the mirror selfie was indeed the lift from this building, dispelling all the conjecture and rumors that fans have been making up to this point.
