Guntur Kaaram, the final film directed by star trivikram, was released in january 2024 but was a box office failure.  Following that, it was revealed that trivikram and allu arjun, an iconic star, would collaborate on a high-profile pan-India movie.  After Julayi, S/O Satyamurthy, and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, this would have been trivikram and Bunny's fourth joint venture. 

However, bunny approved Atlee's project, which was revealed earlier this month, because of pre-production delays.  It seems that trivikram also promised to wait for bunny to finish Atlee's movie first.  However, it is anticipated that Atlee's film would not be released for at least a year and a half.  Trivikram may find it difficult to wait for so long.  According to speculations, he might start working on another movie in the interim. 

Trivikram and venkatesh had been working on a project for a while.  Despite being announced in 2017, this film was put on hold for unclear reasons.  Fans of telugu cinema had long hoped to see trivikram and venkatesh work together, particularly since trivikram wrote two successful films for Venkatesh: malliswari and Nuvvu Naaku Nachav.  He composed dialogue for Vasu as well.  Despite being a box office failure at the time, many people still like that movie now. 

Given the great interest in this pairing, trivikram might bring this project back to life before beginning Bunny's movie.  But whether he answers that call or waits for bunny is still up in the air.  After Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, venkatesh hasn't signed up to any films as of yet. Though nothing has been verified as of yet, there are reports that he will play a significant part in the upcoming movie starring chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi.
 
Therefore, we'll have to wait and see what trivikram does about this unfinished project.
