In a podcast discussing the ongoing tensions between india and pakistan following the pahalgam terror attack, a Pakistani journalist made a crude remark about indian actresses that has angered people everywhere. Along with fellow journalist Naseem Hanif, the podcast included journalist Mubasher Lucman, the founder of the television network ARY Digital, based in Pakistan. On social media, a video of Lucman saying that has gone viral.

'Too many choices'
"Sir, you have chosen to take up arms," Hanif said during the podcast.  If there were a battle, what would you want?  said, "Through your podcast, I want to know...if indian actresses hamari laudiyan banke aati hai toh hame ijajat hai."

In response to Hanif's question regarding his "choices," Lucman stated, "There are too many."  Leave that alone, though.  I also have to return home. Users in pakistan and india chastised Lucman for his disparaging remarks when the video started making the rounds on social media.

India-Pakistan Relations
Following the terror assault in pahalgam town, Jammu and Kashmir, where terrorists shot and killed over a dozen people, the majority of them were tourists from all across india, ties between india and pakistan have sharply deteriorated.

While New delhi has accused Pakistani officials of supporting terrorists, a Pakistan-based terrorist organization has claimed responsibility for the heinous attack.  As a result of the ensuing diplomatic crisis, india and pakistan have suspended numerous important agreements, notably the 1960 Indus Waters Treaty, and stopped bilateral trade.
