Non-Maharashtrians' inability to speak Marathi has sparked the language war in maharashtra once more. A video has surfaced showing a man and a young woman at a roadside ice cream stand having a heated argument.

"Nahi aata muje Marathi, Toh?" is the woman's response when the man asks her if she knows Marathi at the beginning of the film.

She responds that she doesn't know how to speak Marathi when the man begs her to do so. "Why don't you know how to speak Marathi?" the man asks her. There is no change in the woman's response.

"The young woman's response remained the same." "Then why do you stay in Maharashtra?" the man asked her, raising his voice. "Meri marzi se rehti hu, mera khud ka ghar hai idhar," said the woman in response, approximately translating to "I stay by my choice, I have my own house here."

Following that, the man responds, "Then leave Maharashtra."  "Where is your native place?" he asks the woman.  To which the woman said, "Be it anywhere."

When the man persisted in making the same demand, the woman retorted angrily, saying, "I won't speak in Marathi. What will you do? The woman declared, "I will speak in any language; it's my tongue and I wish to do so."
