Although no official name was given, director Sandeep reddy Vanga's scathing post on X made it apparent that an actress had gone too far, supposedly "putting down a younger actor" and breaking an unspoken NDA. Fans think the tirade was directed at bollywood actress deepika Padukone, who had left Vanga's next movie Spirit.

Vanga, who is well-known for his unvarnished viewpoints, wrote: "I have complete faith in an actor when I tell them a narrative.  We have an unspoken nda in place.  However, by doing this, you've "DISCLOSED" who you are.  removing my tale and putting down a younger actor?  Is this the ideal of your feminism?

He added, “You didn’t get it. You won’t get it. You will never get it... Agli baar poori kahani bolna… kyunki mujhe jarra bhi farak nahi padtha. #dirtyPRgames.”

Insiders confirm that Vanga's post came after Deepika's silent departure from Spirit, which stars prabhas and is produced by bhushan kumar and pranay Reddy Vanga, even though he did not name anyone.  Deepika has already been replaced by Triptii Dimri, who acted in Animal.

It has been reported that deepika asked for more pay after 100 shooting days and a 6-hour workday cap.  She requested contract changes with her agency, which allegedly resulted in creative disagreements and Vanga's request for her to opt out.

The actor's longstanding support of work-life balance and mental wellness may account for her ailments; she became a mother in 2023.  However, her followers were taken aback by her affiliation with Vanga, whose earlier works (Arjun reddy, Kabir Singh, Animal) have been criticized for their misogyny.

The performer shared her pleasure on social media after Vanga revealed Dimri as the new female protagonist, making the issue more widely known.

Deepika, who is renowned for being composed in the face of controversy, has not yet made a public statement.
