Disney's Lilo & Stitch is just the fourth film of 2025 to achieve a significant milestone at the box office worldwide. The new picture, a live-action adaptation of Disney's 2002 animated film of the same name, tells the same tale of a lone Hawaiian girl who befriends a runaway extraterrestrial. chris Sanders, Maia Kealoha, Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Hannah Waddingham, Courtney B. Vance, Zach Galifianakis, Tia Carrere, Amy Hill, and Jason Scott Lee all return to their voice roles in the live-action adaptation of Lilo & Stitch.

According to The hollywood Reporter, the new Lilo & Stitch has already made over $400 million worldwide in just six days in theaters. After Captain America: Brave New World ($415M), A Minecraft movie ($941M), and China's Ne Zha 2 ($1.8B), it is only the fourth film of 2025 to reach that worldwide box office milestone.  Lilo & Stitch has crossed $200 million domestically.

The most recent box office achievements for Disney's live-action rendition of Lilo & Stitch include the film's $400 million worldwide and $200 million domestic total.  Lilo & Stitch, which opened on May 23 with Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, broke the box office record with a total of $182.6 million for the four-day Memorial Day weekend, of which $146 million came from the customary three-day period.  With a $178.6 million opening, the live-action version exceeded expectations internationally as well, bringing its overall opening total to $361.2 million.
