Starlink, a satellite internet services company owned by world tycoon Elon Musk, is known. The company, which acquired the necessary license for Satcom services on the 6th of this month, is planning to start its business operations as soon as possible. The Satcom services acquired by Starlink have previously been granted to Bharti Airtel's OneWeb and reliance Jio's satellite division. This means that three companies are ready to provide such services in the country. Starlink services are already being provided in Bangladesh. In that country, a starter kit has to be purchased for Rs. 33,000. After that, Rs. 3,000 will have to be paid every month. Starlink is also operating in Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia, the philippines and Bhutan.

In residential areas, it is charging Rs.2600 - 3000 per month under the name of Residential Light. It is offering standard plans for a fee of Rs.4 thousand - 6 thousand. It is said that the system followed in bangladesh can be implemented in india as well. It is enough to pay Rs.66 thousand to provide services for a year along with the starter kit. It is said that there is a possibility of implementing this type of plan in India.
