The Kodungaiyur police registered a case under multiple sections of the indian Penal Code.
Charges included:
Section 294(b) – Use of obscene language
Section 504 – Intentional insult to provoke breach of peace
Section 505(2) – Promoting enmity between groups
He was arrested in june 2023 and later released on bail.
Controversial Remarks
Krishnamurthy questioned governor R.N. Ravi’s omission of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s name in an assembly speech.
He allegedly made inflammatory remarks suggesting violence.
He also used derogatory language against Khushbu Sundar.
