Chennai: tamil Nadu chief minister M. K. Stalin today inaugurated the completed construction works of the Vallalar international Centre through a video conferencing ceremony held from Chennai.

The Vallalar international Centre, located in Vadalur in Cuddalore district, has been developed as a significant spiritual and cultural landmark dedicated to the teachings and philosophy of the 19th-century saint Ramalinga Swamigal, popularly known as Vallalar. The centre aims to promote his ideals of compassion, equality, spiritual enlightenment, and humanitarian service.

The newly completed construction works include modern infrastructure facilities designed to accommodate devotees, researchers, and visitors from across the world. The project has been undertaken to preserve Vallalar’s legacy and to transform Vadalur into an international spiritual destination.

Speaking at the virtual inauguration event, the chief minister highlighted the importance of Vallalar’s teachings in today’s society, emphasizing values such as universal brotherhood, social harmony, and compassion towards all living beings. He stated that the government remains committed to protecting tamil Nadu’s rich spiritual heritage while also promoting cultural tourism.

Officials from the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, district administration representatives, and other dignitaries participated in the event. The completion of the Vallalar international Centre is expected to boost local development, increase tourism, and provide improved facilities for pilgrims and scholars.

The project marks another step in the state government's efforts to preserve historical and spiritual sites while enhancing infrastructure in culturally significant regions of tamil Nadu.
