2. Visit the center with:

o Your Aadhaar card
o A photocopy of supporting documents
3. Fill out the Aadhaar Correction Form requesting the name change.

5. You will receive an acknowledgment slip with a URN to track your update.
4. Track Your Update Request
· Use the URN on UIDAI’s portal: https://resident.uidai.gov.in/
· Updates usually take 7–15 days to reflect in Aadhaar.
5. Additional Tips
· Make sure your married name matches other official documents (bank account, PAN card, passport) to avoid inconsistencies.
· If you have changed your mobile number, update it first, as OTP verification is mandatory.
· Always keep the acknowledgment slip until your Aadhaar is updated.
