Who is Sanjay Bhandari?

Sanjay bhandari is an arms dealer who fled to london after the Income Tax Department raided delhi in 2016. Recently, a british court rejected the indian government's application seeking permission to take the matter related to Bhandari's extradition to the UK supreme Court. After this, the possibility of bringing bhandari to india is almost over.

What is the claim in the ED chargesheet?

The ED had filed a chargesheet in this case in 2023. It has been alleged that Bhandari bought a house in london in 2009 and got it renovated as per the instructions of Robert Vadra. The agency claims that Vadra had given the money for this renovation. Robert Vadra has completely rejected these allegations and said that he does not have any property in London. He said that he is being harassed for "political motives" regarding these allegations.
