A 32-year-old woman from muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, has been detained in a startling case for reportedly killing her husband after years of being sexually exploited by him. According to the police, the woman drugged her husband, salman Ahmed (35), using sleeping drugs dissolved in a soft drink, then strangled him with a scarf.

The couple had been residing in muzaffarnagar for six years. They had a four-year-old child.  Investigators claim that salman coerced the woman into performing sex labor for affluent clients in Delhi-NCR for almost three years.  Salman recorded a number of these interactions without her permission, according to police, and made money by selling the graphic footage online.

The postmortem report showed evidence of strangling, which contradicted the wife's initial assertion that salman had committed suicide. She eventually admitted to the police that she had been pushed to her breaking point by years of abuse, humiliation, and being coerced into having sex with more than 20 men.

After much interrogation, the woman confessed to killing her husband and described how she was forced into the sex trade and blackmailed, said SSP Sanjay Kumar Verma. The contaminated soft drink bottle and the scarf used in the crime have been found.

Five people, including one Deoband member, have been linked by police to the sex trafficking network.  Device-recovered images and videos are now being examined in greater detail. A murder case has been filed under BNS section 103.  Police are investigating the sex racket angle while the woman is still in judicial custody. wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital forensic specialists are examining pornographic material that has allegedly been shared online.
