The Government of Chhattisgarh has begun the recruitment process for 700 vacant posts in its government colleges and higher education institutions to strengthen educational infrastructure across the state.

According to the state’s Higher education Department, the recruitment includes:

  • 625 Assistant Professor positions
  • 50 Librarians (Granthpal)
  • 25 sports Officers

These positions will be filled across various subjects and disciplines such as Hindi, English, Sociology, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Economics, History, Geography, Commerce, Computer Applications, Law, and more.

  • The department has prepared the reservation roster and subject‑wise vacancy breakup as per government rules and forwarded the details to the Chhattisgarh Public service Commission (CGPSC) for further processing.
  • Once the administrative and technical formalities are completed by the Commission, an official recruitment advertisement/notification will be released inviting eligible candidates to apply.
