In Samastipur, Bihar, a man was allegedly killed by his wife and her lover after he saw them in a compromising position, sparking indignation and a thorough inquiry, according to authorities. The woman lived close to her mother's home and had an extramarital affair with a tutor. The accusations were refuted by the woman.

Sonu Kumar, 30, was the victim who was discovered dead inside his house late thursday evening.  According to the police, his body was covered in blood and had numerous wounds.

Sonu, who works as an auto driver, married Smita Devi five years ago.  Since the start of their relationship, they had been at odds frequently because Smita insisted on remaining in her mother's house in Madho Vishanpur.  A signed agreement between the couple was the outcome of an attempt at reconciliation by the village panchayat.

Family members claim that after Hariom started routinely coming to Sonu's residence to instruct the kids, things got worse. When Sonu arrived home late one evening, he discovered his wife in an unpleasant situation with the tutor.  Sonu's father told police that after a furious confrontation, he warned Hariom not to go back.

Hariom allegedly renewed communication after Sonu's older brother asked him to educate his kids, even though he had ceased coming for a few days.  Sonu had gone out in his autorickshaw to pick up passengers the night of the murder, but he never came back.  Early the following morning, his body was found at home.

Sonu's father accused Smita, his daughter-in-law, of killing his son in concert with two or three other individuals, including her purported lover.  Smita has been taken into custody by the police to be questioned. According to reports, the tutor is escaping.

Smita, on the other hand, has claimed innocence, claiming that she discovered Sonu Kumar dead within their house.  "At 1 am, he returned home.  He then got into a fight with me.  It took more than a single day.  When he was intoxicated, he used to argue daily.  After that, I fell asleep.  I phoned everyone and opened the door when we woke up at four in the morning.  She claimed that his clothing was already covered in mud and blood when he arrived at night.

"Sonu's body was discovered in the house," stated senior police officer Sanjay Kumar Pandey.  His body was marked with injuries.  According to preliminary research, his wife had an affair with the tutor. Sonu was killed in a violent confrontation that broke out as a result of the event.

The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team has been contacted by the police to investigate the site. The post-mortem has been completed, and the accused is being tracked down through additional inquiry.
