Indian politics runs on dynasties, and the golden rule has always been simple: you don’t turn on the man who built the empire. jayalalithaa didn’t go against MGR. lakshmi Parvathy didn’t go against NTR. kanimozhi didn’t go against Karunanidhi. sharmila didn’t go against YSR. But K. Kavitha? She just decided to take on her own father, kcr — and it’s one of the dumbest moves we’ve seen in a long time.

Only jayalalithaa actually pulled it off and became a legend. Why? Because after mgr died, there was literally no one else strong enough inside ADMK to stop her. She faced a weak challenge from MGR’s wife, Janaki, who was politically immature, and Jaya steamrolled her way to control.

Everyone else? They had far smarter operators waiting in the wings. lakshmi Parvathy had Chandrababu Naidu. kanimozhi had Stalin. sharmila had Jagan. And now Kavitha? She’s not just taking on kcr — she’s trying to fight inside a party where her brother ktr and uncle T. harish rao are both far better at the game than she is.

She’s already outnumbered and outplayed within her own house. Going against her godfather while two heavyweight relatives are still very much in control? That’s not bravery. That’s political suicide dressed up as rebellion.

Kavitha isn’t rewriting the script like Jaya did. She’s just becoming the clown of the highest order. In the cut-throat world of family-run politics, you either wait your turn or you get buried. And right now, she’s digging her own grave.
