As farmers have been struggling for the past year, prime minister Modi declared today that he will repeal all three agricultural regulations passed by the central government. They regard it as a success for couples who have toiled for a year to build shelters on the outskirts of delhi in the face of intense sun, torrential rains, and frost. The farmers' group, on the other hand, stated that the fight would continue until the agricultural regulations were legally repealed in parliament.

In the past year, more than 600 farmers have died or suffered significant losses as a result of the war they have waged. The peasants' unwavering efforts resulted in the repeal of the laws through peaceful means. This is the state's ruling BJP-led national democratic alliance government's second major setback. When prime minister Modi took office, he already had the Land Acquisition Act in place. Farmers were outspoken in their opposition to the land acquisition law, which was enacted for a variety of projects across the country.

Despite the fact that the bill was passed in the Lok Sabha, the state legislature's resistance was so strong that the federal government was unable to pass it and it was passed in the state legislature. Following that, due to the legal battles of farmers who were unable to enforce the three agricultural regulations, all three were rendered ineffective. The supreme court also imposed an injunction prohibiting the enforcement of these three laws. It also established an expert team to investigate these laws.

However, in light of the ongoing farmers' fight, the upcoming five state elections, and the BJP's defeat in the by-elections, prime minister Modi has stated that he will repeal all three legislation. The federal government has two options for repealing agricultural laws. The first option is to introduce a second measure to repeal the statutes and pass both of them simultaneously. Second, it may enact emergency legislation and declare all three laws to be repealed. However, the bill to replace the emergency law should be introduced and passed in parliament within the next six months.
