Thirdly, if you live in a village and your income is 2 lakh rupees annually then you cannot avail of the free ration scheme. In the case of a city, the annual income should not be Rs 3 lakh or more. Similarly, the owner of a tractor in the village and those having arms licenses are also ineligible for free ration.
