Young and promising hero Bellamkonda Sai srinivas delivered a big blockbuster with rakshasudu which was remake of tamil movie Ratsasan. His next two films will also be remakes. Bellamkonda is making his bollywood entry with Chatrapati remake that will be directed by VV Vinayak. The young actor after wrapping up this film, will be stepping into the shoes of kollywood star dhanush in the remake of Karnan.

The movie will be out on amazon Prime Video next month. Buzz is that it will be out on May 9th. Given the hype about the film and the theaters' closure, the movie is expected to have a huge number of viewers from Telugu. But Bellamkonda is not worried. He had remade a tamil movie, Ratsasan but still went on to score a big hit. So he is not worried but Ratsasan did not have so much visibility on OTT back then.

OTT is in a very nascent stage back in 2018. But it is not the case now. Moreover, Karnan has a star like dhanush in its ranks to push the audience to watch the movie on OTT. Bellamkonda who watched the original was bowled over by the script and execution and is willing to take the risk.
