victory Venkatesh's 'Drushyam' which was released in 2014 became blockbuster. The highly anticipated sequel, 'Drushyam 2' was formally launched at ramanaidu Studios. The movie is the remake of malayalam Drushyam 2 which recently released on amazon Prime Video and emerged as a blockbuster.

Director jeethu joseph , who has helmed the malayalam blockbusters, Drishyam and Drishyam 2 marks his tollywood debut with this film. meena is pairing with venkatesh while Nadhiya, naresh and Esther anil will be playing in important roles.

The shoot commences from march 5th in Hyderabad.

The entire shooting will be completed in 50-60 days. venkatesh decided to pause the shooting of his f3 and take up this project. They will be finishing the film in a limited budget. The plan is to release the movie on june 18th as Fathers Day Special. Sri priya directed the Drushyam due to Jeethu Joseph's dates issue back then. He is back to direct the second part.
