S v Krishnareddy is a popular yesteryear director. He has directed more than 40 films in telugu and worked with all the top heroes in the industry. He is named for directing family entertainer movies that are very decent in nature. He is the only director in telugu whose films can be watched with the entire family. Though his movies have action and romance, he knows where to draw the line.

Not just the direction part, he is also good at handling the music. The songs he composed stood as the best albums. His first directorial is Mayalodu which became a superhit. His next movies include Rajendrudu-Ghajendrudu, Yamaleela, No.1, Subhalagnam. He however failed to make successful movies with nagarjuna and Balakrishna.

Later he again got back on track and directed movies like Vinodam, Egire Panorama, Ahwahnee, Premaku Velayara, Sardukupodam Randi, Pellam Oorelithe, Hangama. He even directed a english movie titled Divorce Invitation. He is currently directing Yamaleela Aa tarvata serial and is also hosting a drama show in a prominent channel.
