Magnum Opus PS 1 by mani ratnam was released in september of last year. In only five days, the second installment will hit theatres. Because of ineffective advertising, the buzz surrounding the film PS 2 is extremely low, and this seems to be affecting the advance ticket sales as well. With more than 22,867 tickets sold in 340 locations back then, PS 1 was able to generate advance sales of $504,226. In contrast, PS 2 has only sold about 12,000 tickets in 428 places, for a total of $302,773.

It will be interesting to watch if PS 2's advance sales improve before the release given that there are only five days until the premiere. The launch of PS 2 and the release of Akhil's Agent both take place on april 27. On sunday in Hyderabad, there will be a pre-release celebration for ponniyin selvan 2.

Currently, sobhita dhulipala is anticipating the publication of Ponniyin Selvan: II, her future book. The first installment of Mani Ratnam's epic ponniyin selvan was released last year and received a tonne of accolades from both the public and reviewers. On april 28, the movie's second act is scheduled for theatre release. Sobhita, who portrays Vaanathi, Princess of Kodumbalur in the movie, is currently occupied with the movie's ongoing promotions.
