Naseeruddin talked about a love story with ratna pathak, said- 'His parents were against our marriage'

Recently, actor naseeruddin shah spoke about his love story and marriage with Ratna Pathak. naseeruddin shah and ratna pathak are one of the B-Town couples who are known for their strong bonding despite the age difference of 13 years. Recently, the veteran actor opened up about his love story and said that he fell in love with ratna pathak Shah the first time he saw her. However, Ratna's parents did not readily agree with her.

In his recent interview with 'Humans of Bombay', Naseeruddin was asked if he lived together before marriage. To this, the actor said, "We didn't live together, we were in love. I dated him for seven years before marriage. His parents were against it as I was a drug addict and was already married. Also, I was short-tempered, but he (Ratna) didn't pay any attention to that.


Naseeruddin said in his interview that he had fallen in love upon seeing Ratna. He said, "I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her. When we were introduced, I had done my first film and she was working on a play by satyadev Dubey. It felt like I had met this man. I want to know. It was a great grace after that and we stood by each other in thick and thin she stood by me in good times and bad times. The main reason why our relationship is still going strong It's that we remain friends."

Let us tell you that after dating for almost seven years, actors naseeruddin shah and ratna pathak got married on 2 april 1982. Naseeruddin has a daughter Heeba Shah from his first marriage. At the same time, Ratna and Naseeruddin have two sons, Imad Shah, and Vivaan Shah. Imad and Vivaan are also actors like their parents.
