These days every big star is coming on OTT and some are writing different success stories... kajol has also made her OTT debut with Disney Plus Hotstar's series The Trial. Kajol's husband ajay Devgan has produced this along with Parag Desai, deepak Dhar, and Rajesh Chadha and Ajay's bet is right because this web series has become good.
Story
This is the story of Noyonika Sengupta i.e. kajol, who is leaving her legal profession to take care of the household. There is an earthquake in life when the judge's husband is accused of taking advantage of the people. Everything ends but she does not give up. Starts working in a law firm. Then many cases come to the fore and what goes ahead everything goes right. For this, you can watch this series. Its story is inspired by Robert king and Michelle King's famous American show "The Good Wife" but it has been presented interestingly.
How is the series
A lot of content has already been made on legal betting screws, but even then, how every new one coming in every episode here keeps your interest. The conversation between the judge and the lawyers seems funny. Some scenes are not even digestible. Looks like it could have been better but there are very few such scenes.
Acting
Kajol has done an amazing job. A lawyer, a mother, a wife, she shows in every shade why she is one of the best actresses. Along with kajol, Jisshu Sengupta, Kubra Sait, ali Khan, Aamir Ali, and Gaurav Pandey have also done a good job.
Direction
Suparn Verma's direction is good. He has made series like Family Man and Rana Naidu. Here too his work is good, yes if the screenplay and writing were a little better then this web series would have been more spectacular.
The pair of ajay Devgan and Parag Desai have worked together in many superhit films. Here Parag has turned producer from PR for the first time and must say he has put his money in the right place. Hope they bring more good content.
