This past friday saw the debut of Vijay Deverakonda's film Kushi, which also has samantha in the female lead role. The film opened to a largely favourable reception. Despite the film's rather uneven performance at the telugu state box office, it did well and gross over Rs 50 crore, making it Vijay Deverakonda's highest grossing movie of all time.

Everyone who follows social media is aware that there was a funded, defamatory campaign being propagated against the movie. In response to this criticism, vijay deverakonda spoke at the film's success gathering. He said that despite the video receiving phoney reviews on YouTube and receiving unfavourable ratings on BMS, the audience's adoration for it had made it a hit. He continued by saying that he didn't want to talk about such criticism because his supporters had helped the movie succeed by encouraging him.

Even Vijay Deverakonda's supporters said that certain individuals are attempting to discredit Kushi. As an illustration of this, the well-known ticket ordering software Book My Show displayed close to 10,000 reviews with a 1/10 rating. It doesn't matter if the public gives a film a terrible review if they truly dislike it, but if some individuals do this on purpose, it is not at all a good practise. Despite claims to the contrary, it is unclear who the top hero team is that is behind this.
