With "Brahmotsavam," one of Mahesh Babu's greatest failures, director srikanth addala had a huge blow in his career. Addala had great expectations for "Brahmotsavam" after "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" was a big hit. Fans, however, expressed displeasure with the movie's reaction, which was hardly favourable. The audience did not connect with the film's execution or the overly dramatic elements.
After "Brahmotsavam," Addala stayed out of the spotlight for a while until being asked to work on "Narappa" by producer Suresh Babu. When this period came to an end, Addala stopped promoting "Brahmotsavam" and rarely talked about it. However, srikanth addala spoke candidly about his experiences during the occasion to premiere the "Pedakapu 1" teaser. He emphasised that success and failure in the film industry are not always under one's control in response to inquiries from the media over the brahmotsavam Disaster. He explained that while earning his Ph.D. at IIT, he strayed from the conventional formula in order to develop films with uplifting messages.

The action scenes and deep drama in "Pedakapu 1" have astounded viewers and signal a new path for Addala. As an actor, Addala faces a fresh challenge with this film. While anticipation for "Pedakapu 1," which will be released on september 29, may not be great, the team is focusing on stepping up advertising and achieving a strong opening. With a great cast and increasing industry rivalry, srikanth addala is determined to succeed with this project as his comeback.
