In response to an inquiry from india Herald on her lack of acting gigs, the actress said that her heart ailment requires her to move cautiously. Unfortunately, as many of you know, my heart condition hasn't really improved. I have to take extra precautions from now on and keep taking beta blockers, which make you kind of unconscious. I have therefore put on a lot of weight. I've been using steroids for the last three to four months, sleeping most of the time and gaining weight as a result. The problem is that there isn't a permanent solution for my ailment, so I'm also looking at natural Ayurvedic remedies," she continued.

She went on to say that it is a hereditary problem that originated with her father. Her father and grandmother, who were 47 and 50 years old, respectively, passed away from heart problems. She must thus exercise extra caution since any neglect on her part might have negative consequences. She is choosing not to take on noisy parts or work on projects that demand a lot of presence on set in order to reduce stress and ensure plenty of bed rest.
