Rajinikanth's eldest daughter aishwarya Rajinikanth made her directorial debut with 3. Dhanush, shruti Haasan, Prabhu, Sivakarthikeyan and many others acted in it. Although the film was critically well received, it was not a box office success. However, the songs composed by Anirudh are all super duper hits.

This was followed by Aishwarya's Vai raja Vai opposite karthik Gautham. priya Anand, Vivek, Kaitri raghuram and others acted in this film. The film also received mixed reviews.

This was followed by Lal Salaam directed by aishwarya Rajinikanth after a gap of 9 years. Rajini has acted in a guest role in this film, which also stars vishnu Vishal, Vikrant and others.

Directed by Rajini's daughter Aishwarya, the film is composed by AR Rahman. This film has been produced by Lyca. The film was supposed to release for pongal but was later postponed.

The film revolves around a cricket match in the early 90s, political interference and religious harmony. In this situation, this film was released in theaters the day before yesterday. The film was critically well received and collected Rs 4.30 crore on the first day.

However, on the 2nd day itself, there has been a sharp drop in collections. Accordingly, on the 2nd day yesterday, this film collected only around 3 crores. That means after two days the total collection of the film is only about 7 crores.

Although Rajini acted in a guest role, the film was promoted as a Rajini film. Even Rajini himself shared a picture with his daughter and congratulated Lal Salaam. But this film did not get enough response. Due to this, Lal Salaam is struggling to accumulate box office collections.
