This week saw the release of Farhan Akhtar's "Madgaon Express" in hindi and sree Vishnu's "Om bheem Bush" in Telugu. These are comedic flicks starring three heroes each. Both films are illogical, have received positive reviews from reviewers and viewers, and have some truly humorous moments. Not only do they have similarities, but both films have tragically done poorly at the box office.

"Om bheem Bush" ended its debut weekend on a relatively mediocre note, despite its enjoyable content and positive reviews. Even if the movie's earnings on the second and third days improved, it still has to keep up its momentum and take advantage of the holi holidays in order to break even. With about $300K, the pivotal first weekend in the U.S. concluded, indicating a very mediocre performance thus far.

However, "Madgaon Express" was well-received by reviewers and viewers alike, who praised Bollywood's return to producing high-caliber comedies. The picture promises a delightful experience with its unique and humorous one-liners, wacky acting, and a moderately intriguing narrative. Its box office result is still unimpressive, though. In spite of the Buy-One-Get-One promotion, the movie's opening weekend gross was only 7.5 crores. The global box office receipt would be around 13 crores, which is comparable to Om bheem Bush.
