Over the last 10 years, tamil cinema has witnessed the works of some amazing directors, such as Vetrimaaran and Mari Selvaraj, who have created powerful films addressing societal themes. These films aim to alter society in addition to depicting it. Nikesh RS has released a new film titled "Rebel," which stars gv prakash Kumar. It is based on real events and is presented in a raw, Vetrimaaran-style fashion. Sadly, though, the film proved to be a complete failure.

It was a disaster despite having a solid story because of the inexperienced director and poor narrative. The movie is a jumble of intense sequences with no emotional resonance. The box office receipts are not up to par. The movie features Mamitha Baiju, a Premalu celebrity. It's her first tamil film. She usually appears in slow-motion images in "Rebel," grinning irrationally. Compared to her energizing performance in Premalu, this is lackluster. But it's not her fault because the part is badly worded.

To her credit, she signed up for this movie well in advance of Premalu's premiere and subsequent success. She is therefore not to fault for choosing such a subpar part and movie. Mamitha should use caution, nevertheless, while choosing ventures. She is a nice actress with the potential to become a well-known heroine if she can make wise project choices. If not, she could continue to be a one-film wonder.
