According to reports, akshay kumar took up Shivaraj Kumar's role in the esteemed project. The exact reasons why shivaraj kumar walked out of the project is not known so far.

The ensemble cast of the movie already includes Madhoo, Mohanlal, mukesh Rushi, Manchu Mohan Babu, and others. It is said that prabhas plays lord siva in the movie.
