
ED Chargesheet Filed Against YouTuber Elvish Yadav and singer Fazilpuria in Money Laundering Case Linked to Wildlife Crime
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a chargesheet against popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav and punjabi singer rahul Yadav alias Fazilpuria in a money laundering case.
The chargesheet was submitted in the special PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) court located in Gurugram.
The case involves allegations of money laundering linked to an alleged wildlife crime involving the use of snakes and lizards in a music video.
Along with Elvish Yadav and Fazilpuria, two other individuals have also been named in the chargesheet.
The court has taken cognizance of the matter and plans to summon the accused shortly for further legal proceedings.
Details of the Investigation:
The ED’s probe found that Fazilpuria’s popular song "32 Bore" earned approximately ₹52 lakh.
Using this money, Fazilpuria purchased 3 acres of land in Bijnor for around ₹50 lakh.
The purchased land has been confiscated as part of the investigation.
Authorities also seized ₹3 lakh from the bank accounts of Elvish Yadav and Fazilpuria.
An additional ₹2 lakh was seized from the bank account of Sky Digital, associated with the accused.
The money laundering charges are tied to the production of a music video that featured snakes, which allegedly violates wildlife protection laws.
Current Status:
The PMLA court will summon the accused soon.
Further action and legal steps will be taken after the accused appear in court.
