RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat Emphasizes spirituality as Basis for Morality and Social Harmony
Spirituality Is Core to Morality
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat stated that morality cannot exist without spirituality. He emphasized that true character—both personal and national—is rooted in morality, and in turn, morality draws its strength from spirituality.
Mantra to End Violence in Society
Referring to spiritual guru Acharya Mahashramanji’s teachings, Bhagwat endorsed the mantra, "I am in everyone and everyone is in me," as a guiding principle for eliminating violence and promoting peace in society.
Visit to the Meditation Center in Gujarat
During his gujarat tour, Bhagwat visited the Preksha vishwa Bharti meditation center in Koba, near Gandhinagar. He met acharya Mahashramanji and shared that he visits such places annually to "recharge his batteries" for the work he does.
RSS Centenary Year: No Major Celebrations
As RSS approaches its 100th year, Bhagwat declared that no major events or celebrations will be held. He stated, "If we have worked for the country for 100 years, it was our duty; there is no need to celebrate it."
Focus on Programs for Social Harmony
Instead of grand celebrations, RSS will focus on programs that foster unity and societal well-being.
Five Key Initiatives Planned by RSS:
Family education – Strengthening family values and bonding.
Social Harmony – Promoting unity across communities.
Environmental Protection – Encouraging eco-friendly practices.
Civic Duty – Inspiring responsible citizenship.
Swadeshi (Self-Reliance) – Supporting local products and self-sufficiency.
Volunteers to Lead Outreach
RSS volunteers have already begun implementing these initiatives and will actively engage with the public to inspire participation and promote collective well-being.
