Indian Government Authorities officially paid a visit to North Dakota in US. They had talks with senior members of state regarding some business cooperation. It was said that  either the governor or the lieutenant governor of the state would visit India early the next year. 


The Indian delegation was spearheaded by Chicago Ausaf Sayeed who is the Consul General of India. He was accompanied by D.B.Bhati, Consul (Commercial). They had a meeting with North Dakota delegation led by Lt. Governor Drew Wrigley, who is also the Chairman of North Dakota Trade Office (NDTO). 


During the meeting the discussion was mainly about business and apart from that they also discussed about the positive economic climate in India. But mostly the authorities on both the sides were discussing about collaborating between institutions and businesses in India and North Dakota. 


The main areas of business which they covered are, Oil and gas, renewable energy, including wind energy and biomass, value-added agriculture, manufacturing, and innovation and technology.
