After winning 113 seats out of the 224 seats in the Assembly, the congress defeated the bjp to win the karnataka assembly elections. According to information on the election commission website, the congress is in the lead of winning majority seats. In addition to congratulating the congress on its victory, prime minister Narendra Modi wished the party luck as it works to meet the aspirations of the public. 


PM Modi poured his wishes towards congress for its victory and wished the party well as it works to meet the expectations of the populace.

"I want to thank everyone who helped us win the karnataka elections. I value the bjp Karyakartas' dedication. In a subsequent tweet, he declared, "We will serve karnataka with even greater vigour in the days to come. At the congress office in New Delhi, Congressman rahul gandhi thanked the people of karnataka and told the ecstatic party members that "the marketplace of hatred has been closed and stores of love have opened."

Now that Siddaramaiah and state head DK Shivakumar are vying for the position of chief minister, all eyes will be on the Congress' choice. Mr. Shivakumar sobbed today as he talked about keeping a promise to the Gandhis. In addition, he claimed that ever since making the pledge, he hadn't slept for three years.
