It requires no evidence or reason to say that Andhra Pradesh got completely ransacked due to the Telangana issue. It took just three years for the city of Hyderabad and the state as a whole to lose its credentials in many aspects. But on a closer look, one question rises about Telangana- is it a state issue or national issue.  When it comes to taking a decision, there is no doubt that it has to be done from the central level and the state government cant do a thing. But for the central command to take a decision, they need to look at this from a national perspective than just a state perspective. If Telangana is given then what are its consequences.  It is not just the geographical challenges but also political and administration challenges which come into consideration. At a time when the 2014 elections are approaching, will the central government be in a position to even think about Telangana? For that matter, will it take a call even after the elections?
