Right after BJP came to power at centre with thumping majority Amit Shah and Modi decided to strengthen the party across the country before 2019 elections. Currently BJP is pinning all its hopes on winning India's largest state Uttar Pradesh which is going to assembly polls along with five other states.

But it is comingout that since BJP may face mixed results in the five states assembly elections, top brass is concentrating on two Telugu states Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. BJP leaders are planning to win 15 MP seats and 20 MLA seats.

BJP shortlisted seats and they include Visakhapatnam, Narsapuram which it is representing at present in Lok Sabha and also Rajamundry, Kakinada which they won earlier. Apart from it the party is concentrating on getting its leaders elected from Rayalaseema and Northern Andhra regions.
BJP is planning to give importance to TDP in assembly seats which is set to increase drastically and get more MP seats. BJP is planning to contest alone if TDP donot heed in to their request.
