The situation for the Congress party couldn't have turned worse. For the first time ever Congress party has literally no ward members for filing nominations for the upcoming municipal polls in Seemandhra.
Congress is one party which has no dearth of cadre and even when there was peak NTR wave in 1983 and 1994, the party withstood adversities and its local cadre was intact. But this time, the situation is looking very different.
Inspite of electoral defeats, any party which has cadre can withstand any adversities and parties considered electoral success and defeat in the same manner. But with the effect of bifurcation, Congress party has dug its own grave deeply.
It seems to have lost its cadre in both Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra. Though some of them may have not left Congress, they are not working actively for party's success. So it looks like Sonia has written the death code for Congress here.
