NCP founder sharad pawar is holding election rallies. His party is part of Mahavikas Aghadi in Maharashtra. The contest is with the bjp led Mahayuti. Meanwhile, while addressing election rallies for maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) candidates in Shirur and Ahmednagar lok sabha constituencies on monday (April 30), he said that he has spoken to thousands of people while campaigning across maharashtra in the last few weeks and is seeking change. Sharad Pawar said on monday that the wind of change is blowing in the entire country. Due to its shortcomings and failures, people's perception towards the ruling bharatiya janata party (BJP) has now changed. He said, “The public, farmers, workers, youth and women are upset with the working style of the bjp government. bjp got the opportunity to rule the country for 10 years, but they disappointed the people.” He claimed that apart from the crisis in various sectors, the Constitution written by BR Ambedkar is also under threat.
Pawar said, “However, prime minister Narendra Modi does not believe so. In his speeches he keeps criticizing Jawaharlal Nehru, other former Prime Ministers and us too. Pawar said, the prime minister does not sleep at night without targeting us (opposition). “They should maintain the dignity of their position through work.”
The senior leader said, the present government does not believe in the parliamentary democratic system or the opposition. It does not believe in harmonious relations between the ruling party and the opposition to solve national problems. Pawar said, "When I was the leader of the opposition in the lok sabha, then prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and his senior ministers would often sit with me and discuss issues. They would ask our opinion and if they thought we were right , then they assured to implement them."
