The bomber struck shortly after noon in Sialkot, about 200 kilometres (125 miles) southeast of the capital Islamabad. 


In horrific scenes circulating on social media, workers in private factories chanting slogans are seen brutally attacking the export manager of a factory and then burning the body after killing it. 

Priyantha overturned the wreckage of her burnt car and took a selfie in front of the charred body. It is clear that violent mobs are destroying the factory and disrupting traffic. 


Many in the crowd did not try to hide their identities. 

50 arrested

Punjab government spokesman Hasan Khawar told reporters in Lahore that police had already arrested 50 people.


Sialkot district police Officer Umar Saeed Malik had yesterday said that Priyantha Kumara, a Sri Lankan national, was brutally murdered.


Priyantha Kumara, 40, tore up a poster with Quranic verses and threw it in the trash, PTI news agency reported.


It was alleged that a poster with Quranic verses was torn and thrown in the bin. The poster was pasted by the Islamist party on the wall next to Kumara's office. The PTI reported, citing an official, that two workers who saw the incident were informing others.
