Chandigarh airport to be named Bhagat Singh!!!


Recently the state of punjab and haryana agreed to change the name of chandigarh Airport. Now prime minister Narendra Modi has announced this in the program 'Mann Ki Baat'. A few months ago, punjab cm bhagwant mann and haryana Deputy cm Dushyant Chautala approved it by holding a meeting. Only after that, this proposal was sent to the central government. The reason for this happening is that chandigarh is the capital of these two states as well as a union territory.


In the 93rd episode of the program 'Mann Ki Baat', PM Modi said, 'Just before the birth anniversary of Bhagat Singh, an important decision has been taken as a tribute to him and government has approved this proposal and stated that the chandigarh airport will now be named after Shaheed Bhagat Singh.


PM Modi gave the task in the name of cheetahs

Prime minister Narendra Modi also told that a task force is monitoring the African cheetahs brought to the Kuno National Park in madhya pradesh and based on its report, it will be decided when the general public will be able to see these cheetahs. Referring to the African cheetahs that were released in the Kuno National Park, Modi said that people from all corners of the country have expressed happiness over the return of cheetahs to India. 

PM Modi also sought suggestions from the countrymen regarding the campaign being run by the government regarding cheetahs and the names of cheetahs. He paid tribute to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) ideologue and founder member of Jana Sangh, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay on his birth anniversary and said, "The more we know him, the more we learn from him, the more we all will be inspired to take the country forward."
