The maximum temperature was recorded at 46 degrees Celsius in Narasaraopet, Vemuru, Peravali, Mangalagiri, Jiyyammavalasa, Tadepalli, Karlapalem, guntur East, Penuganchiprolu, Jaggaiahpeta, Mangalagiri, Kothuru, Vuyyuru, Konakanamitla, rural Vijayawada, Amaravathi, Kaligiri, Gannavaram, and Kajuluru. The lowest recorded temperature was 31 degrees Celsius.


In certain remote areas of North Coastal andhra pradesh, Yanam, and South Coastal andhra pradesh, the india Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted a heatwave. Additionally, isolated thunderstorms with lightning are possible over Rayalaseema, South Coastal andhra pradesh, Yanam, and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. In the state, the heatwave has led to significant pain and health issues. people are urged to avoid intense activity, drink lots of water, and spend as much time indoors as possible.

In order to assist the injured in the railway catastrophe that left 288 persons dead and over 1,000 injured, ten ambulances from andhra pradesh landed in Balasore. Nazeer, the district manager of (108) Ambulance services in Srikakulam, said that chief minister YS jagan Mohan reddy had given the ambulances instructions to assist in transferring the injured to other hospitals.
