The late Dr. Singireddy Narayana reddy was hailed by telugu literature's chief minister, K. Chandrashekhar Rao, as a literary legend. On the eve of the renowned poet's 92nd birthday, which was observed on Saturday, he paid homage to the literary icon.

The chief minister said in a statement that Singireddy Narayana reddy, more often known as CiNaRe, won the coveted "Jnanpeeth Award" for his scholastic brilliance and promoted telugu on a global scale. He praised CiNaRe as a multifaceted poet who had proven his proficiency in a range of telugu literary forms, including poetry, lyrical verse, musical compositions, and ghazals.


K Chandrashekhar Rao highlighted CiNaRe's accomplishments as a poet, literary critic, researcher, teacher, film lyricist, and administrator, highlighting CiNaRe's multifaceted identity. He said, "CiNaRe is one of the distinguished telugu poets whose efforts kept telugu literature alive and vibrant."

The chief minister also said that CiNaRe's writings, which were translated into several languages, had a significant influence on people all across the world, demonstrating his extraordinary brilliance and enduring appeal. He recalled that, following the creation of Telangana, the State administration aggressively sponsored and nurtured the region's poets and literary greats.
