Earlier, advocate abhishek Manu Singhvi, appearing for rahul gandhi, said that the result of the punishment given to rahul gandhi would be that by-elections would have to be held for the wayanad constituency. He said that rahul gandhi has already been debarred from participating in two sessions of the Lok Sabha, if the supreme court does not give a decision on this, he will be debarred for the entire term.
