On Sunday, the telangana State assembly is scheduled to become the scene of fireworks when k. chandrashekar rao delivers his final address there as chief minister, which, according to party insiders, "will be like t20 batting." The chief minister allegedly made the decision to criticise the governor for postponing her approval to present the TSRTC Merger Bill on the final day of the monsoon session.

Additionally in the past, the governor had blocked a number of bills that were adopted by the Legislature the previous year. According to party insiders, Chandrashekar Rao would talk for three hours, taking on opposition parties, responding to criticism, and promising additional sops before issuing a call to action to the residents of the state to assure his "hat-trick" in the future elections.

According to a BRS source, "The cm wants to warn people against Opposition parties making 'unrealistic promises' to secure victory in assembly polls and warn them about how his efforts to put telangana on top of the country in several spheres in the past nine years will go down the drain if congress or bjp comes to power by accident." After paying respects to the recently dead BRS mla G. Sayanna for an hour at the assembly session's beginning on Thursday, Rao left. According to BRS insiders, Rao utilised this time to plan his approach for the last day.

According to other sources, the chief minister will also take a group photo with the MLAs after the house adjourns on Sunday. This will be the final session of the Legislative assembly for the 2018–2023 term before the state has elections later this year. According to BRS sources, the elections in india would take place in november after the election commission of india issues the poll notification in september or October.
