Telangana's 119 constituencies were recently the subject of a survey that yielded important information about the political climate in the state. This extensive survey, which included 1024 individuals from each constituency and was conducted between august 6 and 12, sought to determine the political climate of the state using a representative sample. The outcomes show a significant change in the political environment, especially for the ruling BRS party.

When comparing the current results to the 2018 elections, when the trs at the time won a vote percentage of 47.4%, the most recent survey shows a drop in their vote share to 40%. This fall explains a sizable decrease in votes of 7%. This sharp decline in support cannot be disregarded. With a vote share of 27.6%, congress has emerged as the second competitor, with the bjp coming in third with 14.8% of the vote.

Despite the repeated claims made by leaders like kcr, KTR, and harish rao that the implementation of social programs and developmental initiatives is the reason telangana is progressing, the survey indicates a change in public attitude. Telangana's distinctive development strategy, which has been held up as a model by some, may now lose up to 40% of the vote.

Given that the elections are barely four months away, KCR's administration faces significant opposition. The opposition, however, faces unique difficulties. Their chances of winning have been hampered by internal disputes and power battles among senior figures in Congress. A lack of true leaders with the ability to provide fierce competition in all constituencies exists inside the bjp, however. These factors may help to understand why kcr wants to win three games in a row.
