The government has so far provided 9.6 million connections under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. Under this scheme, first refilling of cylinder is done free of cost to the beneficiaries with free LPG connection. Apart from this, the government also provides free gas stove under this scheme. How to apply?
First you need to visit the official website of Ujjwala Yojana. After this, download form option will appear on your screen and you need to download it. After downloading, you have to fill all the necessary details asked in the form. After this, you have to visit the LPG center and submit this form along with your documents. Once your application is verified, you will get LPG connection under this scheme.
What is the qualification?
Only women above 18 years of age can apply for Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana scheme. To be eligible, these women must belong to a PPL family. Apart from PBL Card, Ration Card is also required. No member of these women's family should have any LPG connection in their name.
