BJP mp Ramesh Bidhuri made a communal and objectionable statement on Bahujan Samaj party mp Kunwar
Danish ali during the special session of parliament on Thursday. After this matter, bjp has come under target
of opposition parties. Ramesh Bidhuri is also being criticized a lot. His statements have been removed from
parliamentary records, but no action has been taken against him in the matter so far. Senior bjp leader and
Defense minister Rajnath Singh has also condemned Bidhuri and apologized to the House. The video of
Ramesh Bidhuri’s statement is going viral on social media.
After this incident, Danish ali gave a statement, I hope that justice will be done to me and the Speaker will
take action. If this does not happen, I will consider leaving this house with a full heart. On the other hand,
BJP has also sent a show cause notice to Bidhuri and sought her reply within 10 days.
Speaker om birla has also warned Bidhuri of strict action if she repeats such behavior in future, but is it
enough to just warn Bidhuri on her communal remarks? In fact, the opposition parties along with Danish Ali
have written a letter to Speaker om birla demanding to hand over the matter to the Committee of Privileges of
the Lok Sabha. If Bidhuri had made such communal remarks outside parliament, an FIR could have been filed
against him and he could have been arrested. But, Bidhuri has made this comment inside the Parliament.
Therefore, any legal action against them can be taken only as per the rules within the House. In such cases the
role of this privileged committee becomes important.
