On Friday, october 6, the ancient gulzar Houz fountain that has just undergone restoration and renovation was opened. Arvind Kumar, special secretary for urban development, and Asaduddin Owaisi, head of AIMIM, jointly turned on the fountain. The restoration project was started in february 2023 at a cost of Rs 29.50 lakh with the goal of preserving the city's unique cultural legacy.

Asaduddin Oawaisi set the groundwork for three new projects after the inauguration, one of which was the development of a multi-level parking facility at the Old bus Stand charminar, with a budget of Rs 34.60 crores. At a cost of Rs 36 crore, a foundation for construction work to improve the store elevation at Laad Bazar in charminar was also laid. In addition to that, the foundation for two pedestrian bridges on the musi river at Nayapul was laid. Each bridge would cost Rs 40 crores.

History of gulzar Houz
Gulzar Houz, a 16th-century building, was originally known as "Char Su Ka Houz" (fountain of the four sides). It was constructed shortly after Hyderabad's founding monument, charminar, which was completed in 1591 by Quli Qutb Shah and is of enormous historical significance since it provided the community with essential drinking water. The gulzar Houz's architecture has changed throughout the years. It had twelve sides when it was first built, but over time it changed into an octagonal shape that now almost has a round appearance.
