demanded its removal.
Case of removal of GST on online gaming
Actually, the central government had said that 28 percent GST will be imposed on sports like online gaming,
casino, horse racing etc. which involve betting. It was also proposed to be implemented from october 1. This
decision was taken in the GST Council meeting held recently, but delhi Government minister Atishi is
opposing it saying that 50 thousand people are getting employment from the online betting company. This is an
emerging startup. This decision of the central government will have a huge impact on this industry. Therefore
it should be removed.

lakh crore in the last six years. He said, There will be a demand to withdraw the tax notice given to the online gaming sector. At the same time, on this demand of AAP minister Atishi, delhi bjp spokesperson Praveen
Shankar Kapoor took him to task and said that it seems that That the problem with Atishi is that he has to
oppose every decision of the central government. Therefore, he has also criticized the Center for imposing tax
on online gaming.
