Bharatiya Janata party leader and mla Nilesh Rane in maharashtra has announced to stay away from active
politics. Nilesh gave this information on social media site X. Nilesh is the elder son of Union minister Narayan
Rane. Nilesh Rane wrote on He wrote- I am very grateful to all of you who have loved me so much in the last
19/20 years, stayed with me when there was no reason. I am very fortunate that I got so much love in bjp and I
got the opportunity to work in a great organization like BJP.
Rane wrote- I am a small man but I learned a lot in politics and some colleagues became a family forever, I will
always be indebted to them in life. I am no longer interested in contesting elections etc. Critics will criticize but I
don’t like to waste my time and that of others where it doesn’t come to my mind. I apologize for unintentionally
hurting some people. My best wishes to all of you. jai Maharashtra!
Who is Nilesh Rane?
Nilesh is the son of Union cabinet minister Narayan Rane. His brother, Nitesh Narayan Rane, is the mla from
Kankavali constituency in the maharashtra Legislative Assembly. As a member of the 15th lok sabha, Rane
also served on the home Affairs Committee and the Rules Committee. Rane contested for a seat in the 16th Lok
Sabha from the same constituency, but lost to shiv sena candidate Vinayak Raut. Since 2019, he is a member of
the bharatiya janata party (BJP). He has also been a member of congress from 2009 to 2017.
